Make RAID controller another ATA133 IDE
controller |
Make the Promise PDC 20276 RAID controller another
ATA133 IDE controller of the computer Gigabyte had developed
unique BIOS and driver, collaborating with Promise PDC 20276 RAID
controller, to provide extra ATA133 IDE controller for the
motherboard. Users can easily switch the IDE mode between ATA133 and
RAID function during the BIOS setting depend on the devices they
equipped. With the ATA133 function, users obtain extra ATA133 IDE
connecters which design for Raid function originally and they can
link their HDD, CD-ROM, CD-RW or other internal IDE devices
to the IDE connectors. Without extra effort, users can equip more
devices and make the best use of Promise RAID controller chip.
Currently, Gigabyte had applied this technique to three of its
deluxe products GA-8IRXP, GA-7VRXP, GA-7DXR+ to serve the market.
