   Make RAID controller another ATA133 IDE controller
Make the Promise PDC 20276 RAID controller another ATA133 IDE controller of the computer Gigabyte had developed unique BIOS and driver, collaborating with Promise PDC 20276 RAID controller, to provide extra ATA133 IDE controller for the motherboard. Users can easily switch the IDE mode between ATA133 and RAID function during the BIOS setting depend on the devices they equipped. With the ATA133 function, users obtain extra ATA133 IDE connecters which design for Raid function originally and they can link their HDD, CD-ROM, CD-RW or other internal IDE devices to the IDE connectors. Without extra effort, users can equip more devices and make the best use of Promise RAID controller chip. Currently, Gigabyte had applied this technique to three of its deluxe products GA-8IRXP, GA-7VRXP, GA-7DXR+ to serve the market.
